She Lives

RMPscience

If prayer could heal all of us, could cure the incurable, could remove the pain, the fucking rotting diseases torturing our tiniest of loved ones- would not all children be healed and healthy and strong?

.

Certainly, a thousand times over, mothers have tested the power of prayer.  And found it lacking.

I can only tell you I would give the rest of my life to give them 5 more minutes. There is no price on one young life not worth giving. I would have saved Brody for all of the years I had left, traded that and more. This ripped my soul open Ret, this is raw honesty…the type we never want to deal with. But grateful for your post. For those that have fought and those that will fight in the future…

Sweet rest, Mist. My fighting spirit is fierce, a force, a mindset, a will.
      My words, lacking.
The truth, all this is. xo-Ret

I, like you, fight without ceasing for what I believe in. I celebrate spirit, intense calling, the reason to move on in the absence reason…for within the battle you find the meaning of life. You are a dear wonderful woman. Your words touch on all of our truths….xo to you also.

But prayer (to whomever) sustains and buoys — rather than folding the tents and giving up without trying.

Prayer has offered little to no relief, little comfort, certainly little actionable results for some of the suffering children. Of course, prayer may be interpreted other ways…a meditative trance-like escape would be something. Again, It is found lacking.

I didn’t say solve the challenge — I said help the process keep going rather than just stopping and throwing up your hands.

If you quit before you start — what is the point of life in the first place?

You video person didn’t quite and prays each time the rhythmic pace is set on a bike.

Prayer isn’t about what God should do, Ret.
