She admits she needs more of his nakedness, his authentic self,  bare, unapologetic, smiling.

But I’ll take you clothed if that is all I can get she says.

I’ll take an eye-lock across a crowded theatre if your kind eyes are all I can embrace.

I’ll take a close lean in, excused by some proper reach for a what-not sitting on some ledge in our shared space  just to catch the scent of your body, in its everyday skin, in your nothing-going-on-here-with-this-woman-leaning-in-on-me,  if tasting your silent stance is all I may publicly pull to me.

I’ll take a wave out your car window as we drive opposite directions down a highway if that is all the time we are given.

When Taurus and Libra come together in a love affair, it can be the unification of two halves of a whole. These two Signs are thought of as being karmically linked. They’re both looking for security in a relationship and they share a love of art, poetry and culture. This relationship may start slowly as, on the surface, they might have few common interests. However, once they understand one another they may learn they have much more in common than was first apparent.  Taurus and Libra both have a love for the arts. They appreciate fine dining and theater, collecting art and music. Pleasure — physical, aesthetic — is a premium for these two Signs. They both love to woo and be wooed; courtship is a necessary part of any romantic relationship for them, and since they both have this need, they fit well together. Taurus appreciates Libra’s charm; if stubborn Taurus doesn’t get their way, diplomatic Libra is able to smooth things over and keep the peace. Libra appreciates the luxuries that sensual Taurus provides them. They also have much to teach one another:
.
She held little appreciation for cosmic alignments, for collisions propelled by fate. Then she met a man: he was all Libra.

I had no idea…was doing some research on signs…though, admittedly, I am a Taurus… Yes, that pic is “something else.” Tasteful, yes. Meaningful, yes. And I’m rather into feet….and his… is …umm..right there…for me…to…totally distracted….smiles…

Well, I have a bit of a thing for the lower back and hips, I can’t ignore Dimples of Venus. That is the only thing that could make that picture better. Naked cuddling is also very stimulating and relaxing at the same time.. Just a great picture….. smiles

Interesting– those dimples of venus have come up twice in conversation lately… not all backs are blessed with the same divots, nor are all feet blessed with strong lines…smiles.

Indeed. And a good reminder to embrace our genetics and gifts we are given…One cannot make Dimples of Venus appear any more than one can create the line of leg or shape of face…we can only strive to put our best self forward and share our shine with those who lose themselves in the SERIOUS work of study. Grin.

Thanks, C. This one inspired by a man I met who had the most sublime body but I was swayed more by his laughter and honesty, had a great grin. We could dance without music….There are only three times in my life when I have felt that kind of lightning strike to the chest, the one that makes the knees weak and seriously, causes a physical response– he was Libra. I had no idea until later explorations revealed sign alignment… really surprised me.

This is one of my favorites of yours. “I’ll take you clothed if that is all I can get.” Yes. And the leaning in.
Is the passage perhaps from Linda Goodman’s “Love Signs”? That book came out a long time ago (1978!), and I’m not an astrology person, but I remember reading it as a kid and being enthralled by her psychological insights. I couldn’t put it down!

I should dig (and post) the source…will do. I have never held anything more than a passing interest in it…but now… I’m open to so much more regarding connection and touch– so there’s quite a bit of astrology, as well as Eastern research I want to delve into…always learning….yes.

So research from this post shows my source as simply Astrology.com in the Horoscopes section which may or may not use Goodman as a base. However, any book that influences someone is a good enough recommend for me– I appreciate the direction and will hunt.it.down. Muah- Ret

Well, I hope it does not disappoint. What I liked as a teen may not be a reliable guide! But the fact that the book is still in print (with a new edition in 2013 according to Amazon!) is a good “sign” 🙂

I thought Taurus and Libra are supposed to be an absolulte disaster long term — but absolutely fantastic in the short term. XO
