The Calm

It is not my nature to be so dark and brooding.

I have not been the storm- prefer to be the calm-am known as

the calm.

But my truth is truly tumultuous

at present.

And I have to sit here,

in it

-in the eye-

and find my peace

and my place.

She was stretching out and grateful;  growing one wing at a time.

You are peace, Mist. Thank you darling. Art and Coffee and Family and Friends found me when I threw open the blinds to the shining sun! I have a warm place and busy-ness surrounding me. Cheers- Ret

Nice to have these moments of peace in the eye as you recharge and wait for the storm to finally blow over. Glad you are embraced in this time by friends and family☕️👩‍❤️‍👩

There is nothing wrong with dark and brooding.

Your comment is the epitome of acceptance of where we are in the moments that we are given. Thank you for this- Ret

I’m like dark and brooding 80% of the time. It has to be okay.
